where is the night ??
Well, you can call today as the longest day of my life.. coz, i and Natarajan were suddenly among the most busy people on earth. We had to make a small presentation kinda thing for a small seminar that we had to give in our small class. But the biggies always make it big. Instead of using the useless Powerpoint stuff, we got on to Flash. It was not just Flash, it was 3D. Natarajan got well into the 3D modelling and managed to recreate a perfect scale model of the F-14 Tomcat. And doesn't it look awesome ??? Man it does !!.. we imported 3D to Flash, animations, buttons, videos, images, everything we could lay our hands on. Just for a small seminar, we started the stuff at around 11:00 pm yesterday and went on and on and on till 5:30 am today. Since he came to my house, he had to make an attempt to take rest at ma home. We brought both my systems into one room, and with him working on the faster one for 3D and me working on the slower one for Flash, and the great exchange of files, we got completely saturated by morning. We were told yesterday and we had to give it today. That's crap, but we managed. And in all this work, we reached college at about 11:00 am. They thought we tried to escape the seminar thing and left it aside. And now, we need to do that tomorrow. Hope we'll do it good this time. I am 1000% (multiply another 100 if you feel like) sure that people will go crazy when they see the stuff we did. Kick me if it doesn't look professional. But still we are kinda unhappy with that stuff. We could have done loads better had we had more time... anyway, there is always a better luck next time. I'll try posting some of the bits and pieces of our works... just hold tight !!!!

Let's get sporty ...
Well, right now, it's time for some serious sporting action. Happy that Aero is doing well and disappointed that there's no football in the so called, Chairman's Trophy. Well, it's a matter of talks that will decide whether we'll have some kicking on the ground this year. Hah .. the great administrative guys complain about some damn misbehaviour on the ground during last year's matches and they say stuff like, "You people played it like rugby last year" , "Who will take resposibility of the misbehaviour?? " It's true that there was misbehaviour and that's bloody common in football. It's not like cricket were a slang caught on the microphone can cost you your career. Anyway, hoping for the best.

Time flies by ....
Well, after about 10 days, i am finally posting. Actually, i am running out of stuff to post. It's a headache posting useless filth. Anyway, i finally learnt how to upload FLV files to the internet. It's a bloody big process converting .swf to .avi or .mov or something, and then converting the .avi to .flv. All that is done by Macromedia, all we gotta ensure is that the process goes right. An example is down here. Hell lot of loss in resolution, though we can try improving it with the settings. My impatience didn't help me. The main main main thing is that, never use movieclips or buttons!!... absolute zero interactivity. Remember these are converted to movies, and there, all interactivity is lost. We can make a 1 hour flash movie with full interaction in even 5 keyframes, using movieclips, but then in the .avi, you'll see only those 5 frames. It will never play the movieclips. it takes about 0.3 secs to play the 5 frames .. and "bang" your 1 hour movie is over with nothing to see !!!
Look at the hellish resolution, and i used photobucket to store my FLV. This thing does the video streaming by default.

It's the number game !!
Well, posting after a long time means nothing coz, i am simply posting after a long time. This time around, i got some mindboggling stuff here. This is a video of a bugatti veyron pushing to the limits. Well, i was actually dying to see a veyron do it's famous 407kmph. And you get to see it finally. The Top Gear guys do it in top style in top secret places and in this top-end car .... Watch the Veyron (10 radiators!!, 16 cylinders, 1001 horsepower, 407kmph .... !!!!) do it in the Volkswagen Test track ....

Man Utd still standing ...
Well, finally, i got to see a match of Manchester United. I saw Chelsea win their match the previous day and i got to see this match live thankfully. The signal was kinda bad but still, i bore it. This match was pretty interesting. A 4-0 win over Tottenham is good enough for me. I saw goals from 4 different players, Cristiano Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes and Giggs. It looked a bit funny because, Tottenham made 3 appeals for penalty and none were given and Manu got a penalty for Ronaldo to convert. And then, they started scoring quickly and in the end, the last and best goal of the match was Ryan Giggs'. Neat passing from Saha got Giggs completely free with only the GK to stop him. He couldn't be stopped. But Edwin van der Sar how was doing impressive goalkeeping got his nose broken by Keane's knee and moved out. I was just thinking about who's gonna come in for goalkeeping. I saw some old guy carrying the gloves and laughed at this. But then, he gave the gloves to Rio Ferdinand, that was even more more funny. Ferdinand wore the stuff of the GK and suddenly John O'Shea comes up to him and exchanges roles again. O'Shea wore the GK stuff now, and was struggling to tuck the shirt in, with his thick gloves. A sight to watch. He got to handle the ball twice. Once in a corner and again in a one-on-one tackle with a Tottenham striker. He ran out of the box, tackled that guy, cleared the ball and saved the clean-sheet. I was kinda stunned watchin all this.
At the same time, i was seeing how Real Madrid lost to Lavante 0-1. Boring match really. No one really creating chances. Lavante scored with a penalty. Clumsy tackling by Diarra, and with Raul and Van Nistelrroy, and Guti and Robinho, they could do nothing. There was occasional clips of Beckham watching the match from the stands. Well, he says, MLS, here i come !!!!

![]() | ![]() Very funnily, i saw Ruud van Nistelrooy giving crosses. Looks like he completely lost his position yesterday. He must have given more crosses than shots on target !!! |
Old memories ...
Ok .. this is the funniest sequence of photos i have ever seen. Even the circumstances were damn funny. My friend, Natarajan and I were supposed to take the hall-tickets from the college on this day and we ended up going to the terrace of our new building and taking some silly photos. Well, this one's got to make you laugh ..

Perfectionism
Well, the heading is telling you the story. What could have gone wrong ?? Starting with the exam, it was a bit too perfect. writing 5 questions in 2hrs is kinda tough but i managed to squeeze it perfectly, not missing a single point in the 5 answers. That's an achievement for me, coz, i never manage to do planned work within the time. And then, the most shocking of all, 20/20 in EEE ???? what the hell is that? i wrote very less actually, and still full? No complaints though. Who won't want that?
And then, we were free of all shackles of study and we played football, and it was a satisfying match. we won 3-2, and those 2 goals let in due to our own mistakes.
On the whole its called perfectionism......
