The Black Theme

My sudden interest in black themes led me to this. Ignoring important printing work to be done at home, I sat on this. I searched and searched for good black wallpapers, but found none. So I decided to make one (or two) for myself. Some thinking and some photoshop work brought out this:

I uploaded smaller resolutions to save time and space.

New at last ...

Well, i took lots of time, but finally made this so called jukebox on the blog. It's kinda boring to choose only from 4 songs, but that took half my day out (with lots of breaks ofcourse). But check out the songs, really cool... especially Iron Maiden, my new craze. Warning: Low quality sounds, 16KBps, mono. And, the usual stuff going on, gave a break to ambigrams, i'll go back soon. Fine, right now, i got nothing to say other than, "Man, India went to West Indies to do what??? lose to bangladesh ????" Sounds really sick.. and some time ago, i saw this really fat guy from Bermuda making an awesome dive and sending home some new player .. not sure about his name (something with "U") .. and they celebrated just like how you see a football team celebrating a Champions League Victory... looked good.

Ok, i'll give the break, hear the songs and lose yourself ... i am lost.

Birthdays all over me ...

This has been a kinda funny week .. almost everyday i was reminded of a birthday. Amidst all the music and noise, i had to keep track of all the birthdays of ma friends. I was reminded of b'days on 4,8,9,10,11,15,16,17,18,30 .. maybe even a few more might come unexpectedly. Though i wouldn't like to give the names of the people, i wish them all a Happy Birthday at once...

Coming to the other point, i have managed to make my Title animation look like an equalizer bar. It took about 5 min of thinking and 26Kb of space. That's all and there's the output. I hope it looks good... signing off ...

Time flies by ....

Well, after about 10 days, i am finally posting. Actually, i am running out of stuff to post. It's a headache posting useless filth. Anyway, i finally learnt how to upload FLV files to the internet. It's a bloody big process converting .swf to .avi or .mov or something, and then converting the .avi to .flv. All that is done by Macromedia, all we gotta ensure is that the process goes right. An example is down here. Hell lot of loss in resolution, though we can try improving it with the settings. My impatience didn't help me. The main main main thing is that, never use movieclips or buttons!!... absolute zero interactivity. Remember these are converted to movies, and there, all interactivity is lost. We can make a 1 hour flash movie with full interaction in even 5 keyframes, using movieclips, but then in the .avi, you'll see only those 5 frames. It will never play the movieclips. it takes about 0.3 secs to play the 5 frames .. and "bang" your 1 hour movie is over with nothing to see !!!



Look at the hellish resolution, and i used photobucket to store my FLV. This thing does the video streaming by default.

A day of achievement...

Well, i just started this blog... so i tend to spend more time on making the stuff look better. As for the Flash stuff that you can see, its all thanks to my cousin, Srikar who gave an alternative web-hosting site which worked perfect for me. I was using www.topcities.com but then he asked me to use Photo Bucket because there was a small problem with the uploading stuff with Topcites. And Photobucket cleared all the problems. Most of my day has gone like a bullet train. Had to draw a damn Mechanism on board for my class (i did it well though). And the AutoCAD lab was pretty much fun. And once back home, it's back to Blogging and Flash and Music and all the other junk...
