CrAzY dAY !!

Ok, this was a real crazy day. I tried to get up early in the morning, but then, that Snooze thing is so damn tempting, you just feel like sleeping for another 10min... and bloody hell, it'll surely take you till 7:00 am...

And, starting with that, the main reason for all this was the Maths Test. I desperately needed to study for this, and i wasted the whole of the Republic Day. Anyway, i thought, the morning might be enough but then, even that was gone. And I went for the test, half prepared and was able to write exactly half the paper...

And then, we wasted the rest of the day just wandering around the college, as though we never got the chance before. We played Basketball with some MRIPS guys and it was ok, not great really. and then we shifted to football, and i tried blocking a shot by some guy when he was about to kick the ball.. he kicked me instead !!! and me, like some lever, free to rotate about an axis, i just made about half a revolution and banged my head on the hard ground. Aaaah .. it was pain like never before .. but "Pain is good, Monsieur", according to Silas .. frighteningly respectful ... !!! and i was like, dizzy for a moment or two.. and started finding new bruises all over ma hands and elbow and back and shoulders !!! i thought ma head will bleed but then it didn't (thankfully !!). That didn't make me stay off the field after recovering, but then the time was less. We had to end the session.

Had a hectic evening, with the urgency of a printer catridge, we had to rush to CTC to get that. Ah, all the traffic and all that noise was like some blurred buzzing to the ear. Instead of buying a catridge, i ended up buying another printer. The guy told us that the printer might be spoilt (judging by the condition), and a new catridge (Rs. 1200) will get wasted s they won't take it back once sold. He recommended us to take a new printer and we found that deal quite impressive. Deal sealed, new printer comes home and old printer left to rot. My AUTOCAD stuff might have just got easier...

So, not a great Day really, but things must happen to mark your Day.. or else, it's not a Day, it's just another day.

Days fly by !!!!

Well, the reason for posting after quite some time is lack of time. Anyway, as the days fly by, the Internals fly in. As a day separates us from the first Internal exams of this sem, the tension runs high. But not always, coz, i had one more good driving session today and did it pretty much ok. And then, after a long time, i got the elec guitar out. Felt as if strings were rusted judging by the roughness of the strings. But still, i just cleaned them with a cloth and screamed away. The Zoom was a bit low on battery and i knew the end of my session will be marked by the death of the battery.

Anyway i went on, put a slow attack distortion and tried playing My Friend of Misery by Metallica. Came out ok. Wish i had a control pedal to control the attack. And then, i suddenly tried my wah-wah effect and it sounded really really good. Never trusted my Zoom to give a good wah-wah effect, but it gave, with enough clarity. The only disadvantage is, i must play the 5th chords right from the 6th string. Or else, the wah-wah doesn't sound at all. Sounds like normal distortion. Maybe a few changes in the settings will give me wah-wah from 5th string itself.

Ok. Enough post for today i guess...

Damn ...

Well, the much awaited match of the season, Manchester United vs Arsenal went way in favour of Arsenal. Being a supporter of ManU, i hated it but then, Man U are still 6 points clear, thanks to Liverpool beating Chelsea by 2 goals. But then, this defeat of ManU looks a bit painful as ManU were in the driving seat,leading 1-0 with rooney's first headed goal for ManU, for a major part of the game. 7 minutes before the end, Arsenal struck back with Van Persie scoring for Arsenal and then, right at the death, Henry scores... and the match is lost 2-1. Dissapointing really, but that's for me. There might be many Arsenal fans for whom it'll be a positive delight... Let me just hope ManU keeps the lead and wins the league.....

As for other stuff, driving ma car after a long gap was real fun... my driving skills are slowly getting better by the day .... the one damned thing was, i got deviated when a saw a friend's mom, and turned my head clumsily to say hello.. lost control of the speed as i went a bit too slow (left the accelarator completely) and jerked ma car in the second gear to a halt... i hate it when you find youself in the wrong gear, and you start jerking the car ... really gets you panic you for a fleeting second...

Had no time to post ... and there's no time even now. So, i'll just say, get ready for ManUtd vs Arsenal (even if you are not a fan of any). And one more thing ... "There's a lot of filth out there, beware !!!" ..... understand it the way you want to ... it means a lot to me atleast.

College calling ...

Well, starts off as usual, with tension... but tension turned to ease after reaching college. After a 4 day break, it feels better when you reach college coz we don't need to care about the damn power cuts or the usual stuff at home ... i'll miss my comp and guitar ... but other than that, i don't miss anything else. At college, there football as well, so, respond well when college calls. ... football was good with nice movement.. and CAD was silly as usual ... damn those machine parts !!!

Wasted !!

Well, what a waste, Today !! We people get great plans and then destroy them due to laziness, and that happens all the time to me. Completely wasted the 24 hours. I have aa few left, so let's see if something can be done. I changed the strings of my guitar and finally, it sounds like .....well, a guitar. All these days, it was like some stringy thingy making sound because it was being beaten badly for getting rusted. Only useful thing i didn today, so when i do more useful things, i'll post. Till then, Later ...

Can't call it a day !!!

Every year, at this time of the year, i used to be very enthusiastic about flyin' kites and all. But somehow this time, i never got that much into it. Only thing i did yesterday was, i made a kite by myself and flew that. That's all i did this time. It was damn stable in the sky and for the kite battling stuff, stable kites are most useless. You need them to twist and turn and dive and ..and ... !!. Well, mine didn't and it got cut very very easily. And uneventful day you can call it. My cousin came in the evening and we jammed with some interesting songs as usual with my guitar. That's all for a festive day.

Yesterday was a day of roaming .... just went to the Industrial Exhibition and we roamed as though we were lost in the crowd. Pointless movement, and nok useful stuff as well. It would have been better if i was lost in Rome itself...

Too good is too bad ...

Well, though there were many reasons not to go, there were still many reasons to go to college and i ended up there. Had literally no classes and we were free after lunch. We played all kinds of sports possible. But my main concentration was on Football. The absence of football shoes made me repent, but still i played. And that "play" went on from 12:30 to 3:30, in the hot sun and irritatingly tiring atmosphere. And now, i feel almost dead. A dead shell typing these words. Brain seems heavy ... i'll post later.

Manchester United....

Coming over to my favourite football team, Manchester United. .... well, top of the league standing is good enough for me. Leading Chelsea by 6 points, they look quite comfy on the top. But mistakes by ManU can bring Chelsea back. Who won't want to win the League if it is for the second time in 50 Years ??? Anyway, I am waiting for the big match ManUtd Vs Arsenal on 21st January.

The usual...

Well, the usual is the right word coz, today was the usual. Nothing special. Damn boring infact. Had to write novels of notes from that projector screen during the IATS class.(it's a pain, looking up, reading and then looking down and writing and continuing). EEE was noisy as always and the good part is that there was no test today. We were supposed to have Thermodynamics test, and it got postponed. Left free after 3:00, we started the usual football stuff. And i din' carry my shoes today, and got my leg bruised at many places. You find all sorts of junk on the field and a brush of your leg over them is enough to get a neat but dirty cut. Back home, it's a bit delicious, coz, as i type, my sis is makin' some stuninng chocolate cake... mmm...

It might be looking like a Car BLog but then, I am finding such great cars that i feel it must be here. Check out this Lambo Gallardo Black Edition 2007. It's called Gallardo Nera (Black). A day of achievement...

Well, i just started this blog... so i tend to spend more time on making the stuff look better. As for the Flash stuff that you can see, its all thanks to my cousin, Srikar who gave an alternative web-hosting site which worked perfect for me. I was using www.topcities.com but then he asked me to use Photo Bucket because there was a small problem with the uploading stuff with Topcites. And Photobucket cleared all the problems. Most of my day has gone like a bullet train. Had to draw a damn Mechanism on board for my class (i did it well though). And the AutoCAD lab was pretty much fun. And once back home, it's back to Blogging and Flash and Music and all the other junk...

Despite a huge focus on fuel efficiency, many manufacturers dished out some exotic concepts. Both Acura and Mazda get top marks for rolling out some innovative and interesting cars.
